Lior is an undergraduate researcher assistant in Dr. Aaron Nagiel’s lab at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She is investigating the genetic mechanisms of retinal development using stem cell–derived retinal organoids, with a focus on early-onset blindness in children.
Her passion for science stems from a deep interest in developmental medicine and a commitment to improving the lives of aging and vulnerable populations.
She is currently studying Human Development and Aging at the University of Southern California, with a minor in Business Finance.
Outside of the lab, Lior enjoys running, Pilates, volunteering at assisted living homes, and spending time with her friends, family, and rescue dog.
