Leila

Bahmani

Leila is a Postdoctoral fellow in Aaron Nagiel’s lab. She is investigating congenital stationary night blindness, which causes difficulty seeing in low light, as well as extreme nearsightedness and involuntary eye movements.

Her passion for science stems from her desire to investigate genetic disorders in children.

She completed her master’s degree and PhD in Genetics in Tehran.

Outside of the lab, Leila enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and watching movies.
